Meet my husband, Sam. Yes ladies, swoon away. I know… I got lucky.
Not only is he extremely handsome, charming, & loves the Lord…he is truly a gifted man when it comes to building & creating anything. From building big ol’ diesel trucks and custom made parts, to rustic farmhouse touches to our house, he can do it all.
This past summer we purchased our first home. He has renovated this house into my dream home. Fixer Upper has nothing on him. I show him ideas and he creates it 10x better than what I had hoped for.
For starters our main bathroom. This is what the bathroom looked like before. Yikes. A desk for a counter top… next to the pedestal sink. I’m still confused about this arrangement.
This is our bathroom now. All custom made by Sam himself.
Vanity- The dual vanity bases are shaker style maple cabinets stained espresso. The vanity top is a Wilsonart reclaimed oak plank laminate.
Light fixture- Custom made by my husband, future post can be created if you would like to know how that is made.
Pallet shelves- Made from 3/4 inch thick by 7 inch wide oak pallet planks. The pipe supports are 1/2 inch black pipe, 8 inches long with floor flange and 1/2 inch pipe cap.
Frame around mirror: Made from 100 year old reclaimed barn wood.
Toilet paper holder- 1/2 inch floor flange, 3 inch nipple, 90 degree elbow, 6 inch nipple and a pipe cap.
Every so often I will be posting projects my husband has created for our home or for a customer! If you are interested in learning the step-by-step instructions for something mentioned in this post, please comment & let me know!
